- Synopsis: Aecon is constructing a new bypass of the towns of Viriginiatown and Kearns in northeastern Ontario. Urkkada performed the supply and installation of ground monitoring equipment in the rock fill and swamp areas. As a value added service, Urkkada incorporated wireless communication of the instruments to reduce the owner’s employees work and exposure. Urkkada also provided Quality Verification Engineering (QVE) for the installation of wick drains in the swamp area.
